Announcing the 2013-2014 Palomar Symphony Orchestra season:

October 25-26: The PSO is joined by the Palomar Brass Ensemble, directed by Paul Kurokawa, in a Tribute to Howard and Dave Brubeck for our first concert at the newly renovated Howard Brubeck Theatre, with Howard Brubeck's G-flat Theme, Madelyn Byrne's Nocturne for Orchestra, and Copland's Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo.

December 6-7: Fate and the Orchestra! Celebrating Verdi's 200th birthday year with La Forza Del Destino Overture, Bizet's Carmen Suite No. 1, and the powerful Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven.

March 29-30: Klezmer! The Second Avenue Klezmer Ensemble joins the PSO for a joyous program celebrating Jewish music, featuring the compositions of San Diego composer Myron Fink, Gustav Mahler and more!

May 2-3: The Promise of Youth: joined by brilliant young piano soloist, William Kelly, the PSO shares the HBT stage with local high school students, then presents a program including Brahms' Academic Overture and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3.
